Rosamund Pike
Born in London, England in 1979, Rosamund Mary Elizabeth Pike was the only child of Caroline (Friend) (Friend), mother of a classical violinist and Julian Pike, an opera musician dad. Her childhood was spent traveling around Europe due to her parents' work. Pike was born in Bristol and attended Badminton School. She then started acting at National Youth Theatre. Pike first appeared in a National Youth Theatre production "Romeo and Juliet". She was then signed by an agent after she was noticed. Pike also began acting at the National Youth Theatre. While her debut film was a high-budget action film, her film involvement was mostly in smaller independent films like Promised Land (2004) and The Libertine (2004).
