Tracy Spiridakos

 Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress. She was the Teletoon child's comedy series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. from 2009-2010. Between 2009 and 2010, she played as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi series. She was nominated to a Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson was the character Annika in the A&E television series Bates Motel. Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos is the daughter of two brothers. After she was born, her family moved to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is deeply connected to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting at the age of junior high school. Later, she attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Winnipeg in 2007 to pursue acting. She found her first TV appearance on Supernatural within a few weeks. Spiridakos continued to work on television, with walk-on roles in Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos played in the TV film Goblin, and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also played a recurring role on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she was awarded her first role as a star in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her movie debut in 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and also filmed the low-budget Michael Greenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, with her co-stars Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos played Sammi's character on Rags (2012), the Nickelodeon original movie. She then landed a lead role on the NBC television show Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the survivors in an unimaginative future society. As she attended her first pilot season, she auditioned for this part. Spiridakos filming the pilot was in Atlanta and the first season in Wilmington. In recognition of her performance in the pilot, she was nominated to the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She lost out to Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna Torv. Production moved to Austin, Texas for the series' second season.
