Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow, born December 18 1979. Her most well-known roles include her roles on The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara and The Darkness. She also appears as the Armorer in the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian and played a small role in the role of Emily in the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. She began her acting career at Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville, while she was studying at the time. She graduated in 2001 with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and followed that with an MFA in Acting from the New York University's Tisch School for the Arts.Swallow started her professional career on Broadway theatre performing in various productions, including High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, and the world-premiere of off-Broadway shows Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She was in two world premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's play Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] She won the Falstaff Award for best Female Performer in 2010 for her role as Kate in the play Taming of the Shrew.In 2012, Swallow and fellow singer/comedian Jac Huberman conceived their own stage show, Jac N Swallow in which they performed in New York at the Laurie Beeckman Theater and Joe's Pub. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps in dealing with different life situations.
