Christina Pearman- Maday Also known as Raven was born on the 10th of December,
1985. She is an American actor and singer. She has been honored with numerous
accolades such as five NAACP Image Awards and two Kids Choice Awards. Three
Young Artist Awards and three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. VH1 included her
on its list of "100 Greatest Child stars of all time" in 2012.
RavenSymone Symone began her acting career as a young actor portraying the role
of Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show (1989-1992) as well as Nicole Lee on
Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (1993-1997). Both of these roles garnered her many
nominations and prizes. At the age 15, she was offered the role as Raven Baxter
on Disney Channel's television show That's So Raven. She was nominated, and was
awarded numerous awards for her performance. Her film credits include Dr.
Dolittle (1998) and its sequel Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The Princess Diaries 2
(2004) as well as College Road Trip (2008) that were all commercial successes.
The credits she has on her television films include Zenon: Girl of the 21st
Century (1999), its sequel Zenon Z3 (2004), The Cheetah Girls (2003), the
sequel The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006), For One Night (2006) as well as Revenge of
the Bridesmaids (2010). Raven-Symone also lends her voice for the animated show
Kim Possible for the character Monique and in films such as Tinker Bell (2008).
Raven-Symone has been nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award 2017 for Outstanding
Child Programming Performer for her role as Raven Baxter. Raven-Symone's debut
album, Here's to New Dreams (1993) was her debut album as a studio artist. It
enjoyed moderate commercial success with the single "That’s What Little
Girls Are Made Of".
