Markie Post

Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek, California. Her career began in television and film productions like "Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she worked on such projects as Double Dare (1976). Also, she has appeared on television shows like 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). One of her most memorable TV role was "Christine Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she was featured in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post was her mother. She was an accomplished poet and nuclear scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918-April 7, 2015). Alongside her second husband Michael A. Ross, she had two children: Katie Ross (born June 26 1986) and Daisy Ross (30 March 1990). Her birthplace was Palo alto, California and grew up in the vicinity of Walnut Creek in California. She was an athlete at Las Lomas High School, Walnut Creek, California. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She performed trick roping in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated , and her remains were returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post passed away on 7 August 2021, three months away from what would have been her 71st birthday, which was on November 4. She was just 27 days from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984), her co-star who passed away on July 11 in 2020. Though they were two completely different shows Night Court (1984), in which she was a co-star ended in 1992 when Christine Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) was a show in which Post took on a new role Georgie lahti (who, incidentally, had worked for a time in Washington DC before moving to a smaller area) The film was first released in.
