Alyson Lee Hannigan
Alyson Lee Hanigan was born on 24 March 1974. She is an American host and actor on the television. Her most well-known roles include roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), Willow Rosenberg (2005-2014), and Lily Aldrin (2005–2014), which earned her a People's Choice Award in 2009. Michelle Flaherty (1999–2012) was also one of her credits. Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool Us is a show that has been on the air since the year 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan was the sole child of Emilie (Posner) Haas, an agent in real estate, and Alan Hannigan, a Teamsters worker. Hannigan's mother is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. Hannigan moved to Hollywood in her 12th year along with her mom. Her father, who was a casting agent, was with her in Santa Barbara. She auditioned. After finishing high school, she went to California State University Northridge. In Northridge, she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and she earned a psychology diploma. Hannigan made her first movie appearance in 1988's My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was one of her co-stars, and later was her partner on Buffy. In 1989, she received her first TV series job when she was selected as an actress on the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was only 14 years old older when she was hired as a babysitter for Bob Saget's children. Saget was Hannigan's How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was then selected to be the character Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The actress was given media attention that she received in 1997. She also supervised Bob Saget’s children on the TV show How I Met Your Mom. Angel was interested in her reprising Willow's character in a couple of episodes.
